When Doubt Creeps In…
“When doubt creeps in, reach out for help. When your belief is faint, find someone whose belief is strong. When you forget Truth, seek out spiritual reminders. When you do not know what else to do, remember to pray, and have others pray with you. Yea, though you walk through the very Valley of Death, do not let your fear run away with you. You do not walk alone.”
Your Spiritual Quest Awaits
“The intuition of your childhood innocence and sense of oneness is the very thing driving your Spiritual Quest. But you cannot go back. You can only go forward. Do not try to re-live or re-create the “good ole’ days”. Seek a deeper oneness and a conscious innocence within your life today. Then, you will discover God as your constant companion.”
Revel In the Freedom

And only you can make the elegant choice that’s best for you!”

Take Charge Of Your Thinking
“Learning to still your mind keeps your emotions from running amock. Taking charge of your thinking means you can focus your attention on the good, rather than on what’s not working. Listening in the silence allows you to hear your intuition. Sit. Be still.”
Resistance is Futile!
This phrase from an old TV show surfaces in my consciousness on a regular basis these days. As I accept that we may be at home longer than I’d like, I notice my mind start to skitter around trying to figure out what to do like a crazed puppy. When I’m unable to settle or get worked up I can get angry, sad, and frightened. What to do?
This morning I thought about being in the temples in Bali. They are completely outdoor temples. You sit on uneven and rough paving stones, in the sweltering sun, in dripping humidity for an hour or two listening to the monk chant in a language you don’t understand and try to meditate. The first time or two I found myself antsy, anxious, and finally truly worked up about how impossible this was going to be for me. I missed the entire experience. And we still had days and temples to go.
I realized that I was in complete resistance to the experience, even though it was one I said I wanted. Today, I can feel how much resistance I am in to staying home due to a pandemic. But the answer is the same. Resistance is futile and it only makes it worse. What I learned in Bali was to melt into the heat like a wax candle; to feel the dripping sweat as a release of toxins and my tendency to languid movement as an invitation to slow down my life. I didn’t have to do anything, just sit there. As soon as I stopped resisting, and melted into the experience, everything changed for me. My meditation got deeper, my mood got lighter, and my interactions with others became more peaceful and loving.
In these times, resistance is futile, it only makes it worse. Find ways to melt into the experience. Look for the good you can wring out of this time. Be present to what is. It’ll make your inner life saner and your interactions with the people in your household more loving. And you may just find some peace and a deeper connection than you haven’t been able to feel in a busy, hurried life. Be safe, be well, be present.
Be The Peace You Want To See
“Your Attitude of Being is the way you decide to live and operate in the world. The Be-Attitudes are spiritual truths that keep you in alignment with Spirit. Be teachable and open. Be aligned with the Law of Cause and Effect. Be Love in the world. Be committed to your spiritual path and practice. Be the peace you want to see in the world.”
Spirit is my inexhaustible support
“Right action means that every legitimate and constructive purpose you have in mind shall be successfully executed. It means that you will know what to do, how to think, how to proceed. The power of the Law is within you and the action which results from this power produces harmony, peace, joy, and success.
Say to yourself:
I know that in the consciousness of the Divine Nature is the supply for every need – physical, mental or spiritual – and I accept that supply in deepest gratitude.
I am thankful that this is the way Life fulfills all needs, though the doorway of the inner self, and I am thankful that I know how to use this perfect Law for myself and for all people.
I come to this great Fountain of Supply in the very center of my being to absorb that for which I have a need, mentally and physically, and I am filled with the sense of the reality of that which I desire for myself and the world.
I invite this awareness to flow into thought and action, knowing that it brings peace, harmony, and order all around me.
There arises within me renewed faith in the limitless resources of the Divine Presence, the perfect Law, and there is now right action taking place, restoring sanity, equanimity, and wholeness.”

Savor the Moments
This morning’s sunrise was a glorious combination of soft pink and bright blue. It lasted all of 15 minutes. Its delicate beauty stopped me in my tracks. Life has a way of showing us Itself when we are paying attention. These days of staying at home are the perfect time to pay attention to the moments. In the east it’s called mindfulness and in the west, it’s called being present. Both invite us out of the anxiety and mind chatter into the moment. In this moment, here and now, is where we truly experience the Divine for the Infinite is always only here, now. Each time we savor a moment we are celebrating Life, expressing Love and experiencing the Presence of something so much larger than what’s going on in our heads. So take the time, every day, despite the news, or the circumstances you may be facing, and notice the moments there are to savor. The quiet moments, beautiful moments, joy-filled and belly laugh moments. Pay attention to the moments of connection, solidarity, peace, and support. Feel how our gratitude grows, our creativity expands, and the ability to see possibility and good in these trying times becomes available to us. All because we took 15 minutes to enjoy a sunrise.
The Breath of Life
The breath of Life is breathing through all Creation. It is Love made visible. This breath is breathing me. It is the Presence of the Divine and It moves through me, through all people, and throughout the world. I affirm this breath as a healing and cleansing golden light of love. I see it flowing in, through, and around the lungs of the planet and the individual cells in each and every body. I release negativity, attachment, fear, anxiety, and every sense of separation. I claim this breath of life moves as Divine Intelligence through leaders, medical personnel, first responders, business people, workers, parents, and children, guiding each to Divine Right Action. Each person is in their perfect place, lifting consciousness, bringing awareness, doing what is necessary, and restoring wholeness to our bodies, psyche, social connection, and spiritual awareness. A true moral compass is birthed and a healing of our planet takes place as humanity awakens to its profound interconnectedness, Oneness, and an embodied awareness of Spirit.
