There is a sense of excitement when you go to a 3-D movie and experience muitldemensions. The moment you’re given the special glasses to wear, you know you’re in for a different kind of adventure. The minute the movie begins, the images on the screen pop and leap out at you, creating an intensity of surprise as if you were experience it in multididemsions. As you become immersed in the visual and audio experience, the illusion feels real.

A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.  Oliver Wendell Holmes

The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness.  Lao Tzu

Meditation can be like putting on those 3-D glasses. Life becomes clearer and more real and pulls you beyond the three-dimensional world. You are immersed in a new way of multidimensional seeing. You are given access to understanding the interconnectedness of what is before you and unfoldment is slowed down for a richer comprehension. This meditative lens needs to be kept clean the same way that greasy, buttery-popcorn fingerprints must be wiped from 3-D glasses. It’s necessary to keep your filters of consciousness cleansed so you’re seeing through pure, unadulterated awareness. It’s common to attempt to make sense of what pops out from the meditative screen into present perceptions, but sometimes this new dimensional adventure is just meant to rest in your boundless soul without explanation. You don’t always have to know why or how—just notice what’s playing out before you. It will be interesting as to how that gets integrated into your consciousness.

Spiritual Contemplation: Where would it be beneficial to clean the lenses through which you look at the world? What insights do you perceive about a particular situation that would be best to keep to yourself and just notice more that is being communicated?

Affirmation: My meditations reveal to me multi-dimensional insights to my world!
