Buddha was the most aesthetic and disciplined spiritual person – he almost died, but he didn’t find enlightenment. Buddha was enormously successful in business and family – but he didn’t find enlightenment. Finally, he decided to simply sit under the Bodhi Tree until he became enlightened. He learned to hear the voice of the river and discovered the balance of day and night, Sitting in the quiet, letting the Universe reveal its secrets to him, he saw the Light within everything. Then he became enlightened.

Stay on your spiritual path. Be committed to your practices, but cease all your striving to achieve enlightenment. Let the Universe reveals its Light to you through the Middle Way of Presence, Balance, and Right Action. Then you, too, will find enlightenment.
