“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

Inner strength is the product of being comfortable in your own skin, and knowing what you can and cannot do, and being willing to admit what you do and do not know.  When do you masquerade behind a façade of bravado, simply pretending to be strong?  How often are you afraid to be found out?

Having Inner strength means you are willing to put effort into whatever you are doing, even if it seems difficult. Moving from your inner strength means you can ask for help when you need it.  Living out of true inner strength means you can say, “I cannot do this”, without feeling diminished or simply giving up.

Reflection:  Are you comfortable with asking for help or saying ‘I don’t know?”  where are you pretending to be strong?

Affirmation:  My inner strength comes from the Truth of Spirit within me.  I lean on Spirit, knowing it is strong enough for anything.
