The Hindu concept “namaste” and the African philosophy “ubuntu”, are guideposts for compassionate action.

Namaste is the recognition that each one of us is sourced from the same Divine spark of life. But sometimes, that still has us seeing each other as separate from one another.

Ubuntu reminds us that none of us exist without the other; our lives are interdependent in such a way that my life does not exist without you.

By incorporating “namaste” and “ubuntu”, we set the stage for a month-long exploration of how we are individual; how we are connected; and how we are inseparable from one another because we are inseparable from God.

Learn more about the value of seeing that we are from the same source and, also, the value of the philosophy that binds us together and reminds us –  anything any one of us do, has an effect on everyone else.
