ADVENTURES IN SPIRIT 2024 PLEDGE CAMPAIGN

Unleash Possibility

Leap Into Prosperity

Pledge Campaign Goal: $815,000 & 190 Pledgers

What is the Adventures in Spirit Campaign?

Every October, we dive into the Spiritual Laws of Prosperity, Abundance, Attraction, Circulation, Tithing, and Sacred Giving. Through our annual pledge program, we practice sacred giving, according to these Laws. Together, we cultivate a prosperity consciousness and trust Spirit as our Source

At CSLDallas, all of our programs and services rely solely on contributions from our community; we receive no external funding. To expand and achieve more, we must all commit to giving. By pledging to CSLDallas for 2025, you form a sacred covenant with us, ensuring our transformative work continues.

Your pledge, added to everyone else’s pledge, shapes our annual budget. We promise to spend only what the community has pledged. Whether you’re a first-time pledger or a committed contributor, every pledge and dollar counts. Join us in exceeding our goals and securing the prosperity and well-being of CSLDallas. click on the Pledge Here to access the online pledge form.  It is all very secure.

What are the 2025 Priorities?

  1. CSLDallas 3.0 – We are Unleashed in 2025, growing a spiritual community in the heart of Texas, connected around the world. Our message is needed, now more than ever! Our community is both haven and hub. A right-sized campus, increased staff, and mobilized volunteers are compelling CSLDallas into growth and expansion, making a difference, moving mountains, and creating sacredness in everything we do.

  2. #1 CSLDallas as a Force for Good in the World

  3. Continuing to gather for focused, consciousness-raising group meditation, spiritual mind treatment, rituals, training, and events focused on national/social/global topics. Facing racism, sustainability, and democracy from our Global Vision and a consciousness-centered perspective, empowering peaceful and transformative words and actions within our community and throughout DFW.

  4. #2 Building, Growing, Expanding CSLDallas

  5. Volunteers are at the heart of our ability to grow a transformative local and virtual Center. To combat isolation and disconnection, we invite everyone to bring their piece of the vision, give their gift, learn a new skill, and make a difference. Working together builds deep friendships within a spiritual laboratory of personal and leadership growth. Help us build something special at CSLDallas and around DFW!

  6. In-person community growth through a dedicated focus on families of all kinds. Many families are faced with depression, anxiety, addiction, and suicide, as well as the challenges of social media, gender identity, screen time, violence, or despair over the future. CSLDallas is committed to growing a dynamic, compelling JOY Village program on Sundays and Wednesdays. Reaching out, making space, sharing wisdom, teaching skills, and standing together through the changes of life.

  7. Online engagement and reach by providing authentic connections in the virtual environment. We are dedicated to continue creating a virtual community while providing compelling and accessible content. We are discovering ways for our online community to engage, get support, and contribute to CSLDallas’ purpose & mission.

Why Tithing To CSLDallas Matters!

Anne Fisher

Every step I take is supported in some way by CSLDallas—through Science of Mind teachings, the prayers, and coaching of Practitioners, or the relationships built within this community. Knowing that I am always supported brings me confidence and peace.  I pledge financially each year to ensure that all the gifts I receive from CSLDallas are available to everyone who finds this amazing community. I want each person to experience the acceptance, support, and warmth provided by CSLDallas.

Lauren Treu

Giving to this place that feeds my spiritual needs is an exercise in self-care. I get fed at the Center by the inspired talks, the classes and workshops, and the friends I have made here. These things inspire me to give and then I get fed more, not only from the Center (the original giving) but by the giving itself. Giving of my financial abundance and my time, both feed into the circle of giving and receiving that I have longed for in my life.  It’s good to know that Spirit is at work in me and in this Center, as we both grow and prosper from this circle of giving and receiving.  And so it is…….

Leah Glaser

CSLDallas offers a vibrant community, inspiring programs for all ages, and outreach initiatives that touch countless lives.  Knowing that my contribution helps keep these programs thriving and allows the center to operate on a strong financial footing, brings me immense joy. I believe in the mission and vision of CSLDallas, and I see tangible results in the lives around me. Tithing is a privilege. It’s a way of expressing my gratitude for the spiritual sustenance I receive, for the positive impact on my son’s life, and for the opportunity to contribute to something bigger than myself. Witnessing the positive ripple effects of my giving back within our community is inspiring. I hope you’ll join me in giving back to CSLDallas!

I have to thank YOU because without you asking me to perform my spoken word…I would have never [recorded my song]… I loved your Mother’s Day talk on gender, I love that you’re educating everyone on the power of having BOTH the divine masculine and feminine…is what makes me feel so whole and powerfully ME. My second song “Greater Thans”…captures this thought that instead of thinking of trans people as lesser-thans, flipping the narrative and celebrating ALL of our greatness…I really do think I’ve found my purpose in life and I’m having fun with it so THANK YOU for unlocking this in me. I’m also really enjoying the classes so thank you for encouraging me there as well

Terry "TJ" Woods

At 67, spirituality is new to me. After 8 years of searching for something that made sense, I found CSLDallas. In 2022, I attended my first Science of Mind (SOM) class and was hooked. For the next 2.5 years, I took every class I could at CSLDallas. Through Dr. Petra’s dialogue, reflections, and feedback during the SOM class on Sundays, discussions with teachers, breakouts with student truth seekers, the curriculum, and assignments, I believe I compressed a decade of learning into those short 2.5 years! Attending classes (and even social events!) at CSLDallas has re-formed how I think about Life and my relationship with Her. I am still a novice at applying the spiritual principles I’ve learned here, but I have more Trust, more Love, less judgment, less self-antagonizing, and more moments of Peace than ever before.

Julia Scherer

When I arrived at CSLDallas, I knew I was in the right place. I did not know what to expect or how it would go, but I can say it has been a wonderful journey of unveiling who I am, one step at a time. At times, it has been fun, exciting, and joyful. I will not lie, it can be tough as well, for this journey requires commitment, discipline, mindfulness, and focus.

Rhonda Goodnight

I know that giving financially through the practice of tithing in supporting CSLDallas, has given so much back to me. I have the life of my dreams because I know how to claim what I want and to make choices that support that life. Today, I know and experience true wealth in all areas of my life, in ways I could never have imagined. I have even been able to have a new relationship with my former husband. I am experiencing optimal health. I have financial independence for the first time in my life and I LOVE IT!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Tithing?

Tithing is the consistent spiritual practice of passing on that which we receive to something greater than ourselves. This practice of faith, trust, and generosity has been practiced for thousands of years. Faith and belief grow through acts of gratitude. For example, we all know that when we give love we get it back, when we demon-strate kindness we get kindness in return, and when we show our understanding we receive understanding. This is also true with our financial resources. The more we give, the more we receive. Tithing is a spiritual principle of circulation which we practice by gratefully giving back to our Source. Individuals who practice tithing give at least 10% of their income to the communities and organizations from which they are spiritually fed or whose spiritual mission they feel led to enhance. When you ask someone who tithes why they do it, you will always hear about the abundance tith-ing creates in their lives, abundance in love, friends, careers, peace and financial resources. Tithing is about FAITH – The knowingness that Life Itself will meet your every need and fulfill your every desire. Tithing is about GRATITUDE – Knowing that Source is already showering you with all the Good that you have received. Tithing is about Living in the Flow of Life!

If My Circumstances Change During the Year, Can I Change My Pledge?

Yes. You may increase or decrease your pledge at any time. This program is not designed to be a bill you owe, but rather a gift you give that transforms your life, through spiritual prosperity principles, and the life of our spiritual community. Once a quarter, you will receive information about your giving so you’ll know where you are with respect to your contribution.

How Does It Work?

Each member and friend of CSLDallas receives a letter from the Center that includes a Pledge Card. You are asked to prayerfully and thoughtfully make a specific dollar pledge to be given during the following year (January 1 to December 31). You may give your financial gifts, offerings or tithes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or, annual basis. You can fill out a Pledge Card online or return a physical card to the Center by mail, or in the offering on any Sunday.

Does the Money Committed in This Campaign Pay for All the Expenses in Our Approved Center's Budget?

The answer is no. However, the intent of the campaign is to cover most of our expected expenses through regular, consistent giving. Generally speaking, the goal of the campaign is to raise approximately 94% of the approved budget. The balance of the money used to operate the Center comes from classes, seminars, workshops and non-pledged gifts. Most importantly, our efforts allow the leadership of CSLDallas to accurately forecast the income, which enables us to make better financial decisions and to be better stewards. In other words, we use these commitments as a compass to guide us.

What if I Don’t Think I Can Pledge Right Now?

This is clearly an individual’s choice

and we will support any decision you make. However, we encourage you to thoughtfully consider what making a pledge will mean for you. Ernest Holmes, Founder of Science of Mind, teaches us that what we can see in our mind becomes our reality. Simply stated, if we see ourselves with growing resources, we create our personal expansion. Think about committing yourself to a goal and trusting the Law of Prosperity, thus continuing to build a world full of individuals who have trusted Spirit to provide based on their willingness to give. Do you really have anything to lose, other than fear and limitation?
