One way to understand the Unity and Wholeness of Reality is through the metaphor of the hologram. The hologram is an image that is reproduced and viewed from all sides simultaneously as a complete whole. When a hologram is broken into pieces, every piece shows the same complete image, only slightly less sharp, a little burred. So, you could imagine that we are all “pieces” of the whole, slightly less sharp and a little blurred from the Absolute Perfection of Life, but still, a piece of the whole that is also the complete and whole Reality in the piece. Just another way of imagining the notion that the Highest God and the Innermost God is one God or the idea that we are “made in the image and likeness of God.” Fortunately for us, this metaphor is being scientifically examined and may actually be true! Once again mysticism and science meeting in the realm of Unity and Wholeness!
