A powerful thought – the criticism you have for others is a reflection of the criticism you have for yourself. The reverse is also true – the criticism you have for yourself is a reflection of how you hold others. The good news is that no matter where you start with compassion and forgiveness, both sides are benefited. Learning to forgive others helps you forgive yourself. Learning to be compassionate with yourself, helps you be compassionate with others. Start wherever you can and know that your whole life, as well as those around you, are lifted because of it.
