Using the novel written by Octavia Butler as the guide, the Parable of the Sower Book Study will explore the challenge of applying spiritual principles during times of change, disruption, and transformation.

Published in 1993, Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower is set in the 2020s, and imagines a society – “Earthseed” – that is falling apart due to climate change, corporate greed, and economic inequality.

Led by Licensed Practitioner Tracy Brown, learn how the fictional religion of “Earthseed” aligns with the metaphysical principles we teach in Science of Mind and how the challenges faced by the characters in the book share many parallels with 21st century America.

During this book study you will:

1. Have an opportunity to explore ways to apply spiritual principle when living during chaotic cultural change
2. Deepen your understanding of Science of Mind core principles
3. Gain exposure to one of the most popular books written by award-winning science fiction author Octavia Butler
4. Build relationships with other spiritually grounded people

If you are ready to learn how to apply the metaphysical principles we teach in Science of Mind to the changes and challenges we are facing in today’s society, then register for the Parable of the Sower Book Club today!
