Trinity River Elm Fork
The trip will be on the Trinity River Elm Fork. It is the area where the river connects with Lake Lewisville, between Hebron Parkway and Sandy Lake Road along Interstate 35.
Only 14 can go without further set-up by the tour provider. If we have more than 14, I will develop a wait list, and see if we can increase the tour. It is possible with planning. The tour costs $55 for a canoe (for up to 2 persons), or $40 for a kayak. Email Michael Deese at michael@deese.life if you want to join the tour. Michael will coordinate the payment for the tour and answer any questions. We will meet at 9:00 AM sharp and the meeting place will be given to those that are registered, the week before the tour departs. The location on the Trinity might change due to rain or other factors. Duration: 4 hours total time. 3 hours on the river. We should be through at about 1:00 PM. Items to bring: * Old tennis shoes, water shoes, or closed toed shoes (no flip flops, or sandals for safety getting in and out of the river) * 2 quarts of water * Hat * Sunscreen.Leaders of Circle:
