Create A Beautiful, Sustainable Residential Landscape: Here’s How
Sustainable landscapes are those that work with nature instead of against it. And no matter what your style, you can create and maintain a design that does less harm to the environment. This session will cover: plant selection, composting, mulching, how and why to go organic, efficient watering, electric-powered lawn equipment, and more.
More about the group: Most people want to do their part to use our natural resources wisely, protect the environment, and energize the economy in a way that is equitable for all. But unless you’ve spent hours researching how you may not have a good list of things you can do personally! Fortunately, CSLDallas’ Sustainability Circle has done the research and is willing to share it. Whether you’re a novice or a pro, these sessions will reenergize you!
Join us for these 30-minute sessions that will be overflowing with an abundance of things you can do now, in the short-term, and in the long-term future. You’ll get tips, ideas, and plenty of resources so you can learn more about each topic if you choose.
These 30-minute hybrid sessions will take place at CSLDallas and online from 11:45 a.m to 12:15 p.m. on the Sundays below immediately after the Sunday Service.

No shaming, no blaming — You get to decide which new activities are right for you and which aren’t! No one will tell you that your choices are wrong.
Intentionality – Corporations and the advertising industry have turned us into a nation of consumers. Take your power back by setting your intentions!
Practice makes perfect – The more you do, the more you’ll want to do. Small incremental changes over time lead to big, positive changes in life and in our world.
Social comparisons – Researchers have found that the most effective thing you can do to spark behavior changes by people in your community is to model sustainable behavior!
