When she’s not at CSLDallas, you’ll find Rev Karen spending time in nature, taking pictures, deepening her yoga practice, and planning her next adventure. In August 2014, when she got diagnosed with breast cancer, Rev Karen received the greatest gift of her life. This “unexpected blessing” taught Rev Karen that loving herself needed to be added to her practice of BE LOVE in the world. In 2010, Rev Karen discovered BE LOVE as her primary daily spiritual practice. Out of this awakening, she started “BE LOVE – Pass It On.” Its purpose is to awaken each of us to the boundless love that resides within and to be that in the world. Now she teaches that we must also be that for ourselves!

Rev Karen received Ordination in 2016 and became a licensed minister for Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL) in 2013. She served in leadership at all levels from 2007-2013 at the Oakland Center for Spiritual Living in Oakland, CA. Rev Karen currently serves on the CSL Ministers Council and CSL Strategic Alliance Committee. She served for six years as the elected Chair of the Nominating Council for CSL and as a CORE Council member for United Centers for Spiritual Living for four years from 2008-2012 . She also served as the Vice Chair on the Science of Mind Archives and Library Foundation Board of Trustees.

Prior to becoming a licensed minister, Rev Karen spent twenty-three years in executive leadership, sales, and marketing. Over half of her career was spent in the medical device industry where she thrived, loved the start-up environment, and helped take companies to their next major growth stage. She was the major revenue driver for one such company, generating over $30 million in revenue in less than five years.

Rev Karen holds a Masters in Consciousness Studies from Holmes Institute from the Santa Rosa, CA Campus. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing & Sales from the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN where she graduated magna cum laude.

"When we let the love that is within us go out to the God who is in all people and the Divine Presence that is in all things, then we are loving God with all our heart and with all our soul and mind because we are recognizing that the Spirit within us is the same Spirit that we meet in others. This is loving our neighbors as ourselves." - Ernest Holmes
