Dana Jones, Chair
Dana has over 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry. She is a Sr. Business Consultant, at TIAA, specializing in transitioning and onboarding new academic and newly added retirement and recordkeeping services, assist in optimizing engagement center performance, acting as a liaison with field leaders and operations, and finally enhancing the institutional relationship with our largest and most diverse academic institutions. Dana also served on TIAAs Diversity & Inclusion Council and Co-chaired the Dallas LGBT Affinity group.
Prior to joining TIAA in March 2011, Dana was Director of Implementation at Ameriprise Financial. During her 17 year career there, Dana served in a variety of Leadership capacities in areas such as Individual Financial Planner, Plan Production, Customer Service Manager, and Compliance OSJ Branch Supervisory Support.
Dana holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Wright State University, Dayton/Fairborn Ohio and a FINRA Series 7 license. She enjoys time with her spouse Raven, their boxer Bailey, attending the NCAA Final Four Men and Women’s Basketball championships, and traveling with family and friends.
Dana has attended CSLDallas since 2011, is passionate about the teachings and growth of CSLDallas and with gratitude serves as the 2017 and 2018 CORE Council Chair.
Jeff Fritts, Vice Chair
Jeff Fritts is a successful entrepreneur, commercial real estate finance expert and independent investor. He has been a managing partner or President for successful start-ups including FrittsSesler Investments, Sarofim Realty Advisors and a family owned retail business, Loretta’s Intimates. Jeff has a proven capacity to pull deals together and manage them to success. Other notable achievements include: tripling the Central Regional real estate portfolio of The Equitable; chartering American Federal Bank before selling to Guaranty Federal Bank; creating an investment banking arm, as Director of Finance, for Trammell Crow Company and serving as President of the Texas Foundation for Visually Impaired Children from 2004 to 2008.
Since 2008 his activities have been split between serving business interests and volunteering. Jeff and Karen, his wife, are very active in the CSLDallas.
He serves there on their Core Council and heads the Dialogue Circle and co-leads the Men’s Circle. In June 2016, Jeff was appointed a CASA volunteer (a Court Appointed Special Advocate) for abused and neglected children in Dallas County.
Jeff and Karen have three grown daughters and five granddaughters and devote as much time to this growing family as their daughters will allow.
Rev Karen Fry
Rev Karen Fry has a genuine love for all of life and meets people exactly where they are. She leads with her heart and is willing to be vulnerable and real. Toni is a Compliance Officer at a Dallas area hospital. She has been a compliance professional in the healthcare field for the last 20 years specializing in healthcare privacy/security matters, healthcare regulations, training, policies, ethics and implementing corporate integrity agreements. A Texan, born and raised, she has lived all around the state but feels more like a citizen of the world. Her favorite adventure is traveling around the US and especially to other countries to soak up their spiritual practices. She is a regular volunteer at CSLDallas, where she has been a member since 2012 and a former volunteer at Dallas CASA and The Bridge. She is dedicated to furthering the CSLDallas mission of transforming lives and creating a better world that works for everyone.
With close to 40 years tenure with Wilson Associates, a global interior architectural design firm, Cheryl’s early career concentrated on the design of signature hotels worldwide. Cheryl quickly moved into management and for 30 years, acting as COO for the firm, focused on business operations extending to financial & administrative management, project and resource management, negotiations, team building and general problem solving. Retiring in 2017 from her COO role, she maintains a consulting position with the firm as well as consulting with other interior design firms in the industry. For fun she enjoys being a part of the North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums, where she plays the highland bagpipe. Cheryl has attended CSLDallas for over 18 years and is grateful to serve on the CORE Council.
Joe has attended CSLDallas for twelve years and is presently the Team Lead for our Theater Ministry, as well as for our Platform Assistants. A career businessman, he worked for 22 years in Sales and Marketing for Fortune 500 National Homebuilders, also having served on the board of the Homebuilders Association of Dallas and as chair of the Sales and Marketing Council of Dallas. Presently Joe is Senior Project Manager for a commercial concrete construction company. Outside of work and his interest in Science of Mind, Joe enjoys singing and acting on stage and spending time with his wife Dierdre and their family, which includes the recent addition of two granddaughters, Lilah and Everleigh
Sherry has been a devoted member of the CSLDallas community since 2003. Her passion is to serve our community through leadership, teaching, and being a Licensed Spiritual Coach. Sherry has served as Chair of the CORE Council, Nominating Core, and currently the Vision Core. Teaching and coaching are two of the ways which have given her the opportunity to create deeper connection with our community members, and be in service to our purpose of transforming lives.
Outside her volunteer work at CSLDallas, Sherry has been employed with Wilson Office Interiors since 1994. As a senior account manager, Sherry enjoys the challenges of assisting clients in the creation of work environments that are both highly functional and aesthetically pleasing. Whether at work or her spiritual home, Sherry is grateful to be in service to the greater good of all.

Steve was his high school class president and earned one of 700 full ride ROTC scholarships to attend the college of his choice. He served 6 years as an officer in the ‘US Army Chemical Corp’ with tours including Germany and Washington State.
Since then, his path led him to Business Intelligence where he has been analyzing data for 30 years as both a consultant and full time employee. He is married to Lauren and between them they have six beautiful daughters, one handsome man, and four grandchildren. For fun, Steve enjoys time with Lauren, family, friends, traveling, the outdoors, and working on his property near Clayton, OK. Steve has attended CSLDallas for 7 years and is grateful to serve on the Core Council.
