Ancient celebrations of Eostre were focused on the rhythms of creation and the emergence of spring with its awakening of new life. Traditionally and today, Easter celebrates the Christian anniversary of the resurrection and the emergence of a spiritual awakening into eternal reality. This year, CSLDallas is celebrating Easter in a whole new way… as Emergence: Growing our Spiritual Awareness.

As our spiritual awareness grows by tending to the shoots and sprouts of the deeper truth within ourselves, we start to create and cultivate a vibrant life. As we learn to be patient with this organically unfolding process, the natural impulse of Life, begins to express itself within us, as us, and through us. Trusting this process builds an awareness in our consciousness of the true Nature of Infinite Reality. The more we embrace these truths, we die to the sense of separation and a resurrect into the awareness of the eternal Presence and Universal Principles.

JOY VILLAGE: Journey of Youth

On this special Sunday, our JOY Village youth program will explore the origins of Easter, how it’s celebrated around the world, and the rebirth and renewal of Spring through arts and crafts!

After the morning service, we’ll embark on an Easter Egg Hunt with children walking through 3rd grade and a Scavenger Hunt across campus for children 4th grade and up.
