If you’re a deep thinker with a huge heart who struggled to fit in and be understood by your family or in the workplace, there’s nothing wrong; you simply might be a highly sensitive person or HSP.

20% of all human beings are born with a brain and central nervous system more responsive to stimuli in the environment, like bright lights, crowds, noise, traffic, deadlines, chemicals, etc. HSPs can easily become overstimulated in our fast-paced, high-pressure, modern world.

50% of highly sensitive people are men, 50% are women and we represent all ages (including highly sensitive children), ethnicities, and cultures across our world.

Highly sensitive people tend to be very conscientious and often struggle with perfectionism. We experience a wider, deeper range of emotions and are often drawn to be the helpers, healers, writers, teachers, artists, and caregivers of people, animals, and our planet. Some are also empaths (extremely sensitive people) who sense shifts in subtle energy and feel other people’s emotions as if they are your own.

Join us for an online screening of the movie, ‘Sensitive – The Untold Story’, which features three decades of research by psychologist Elaine Aron, Ph.D., and other scientists about what they believe is an inherited personality trait.

The event will be hosted by sensitivity expert, Bevin Niemann, who not only trained directly with Elaine Aron but has worked as an educator and empowerment coach with sensitive people for the past eight years. Bevin will pause the movie at key junctures to provide insights and additional information. We will conclude with a Q&A session, so you can receive answers to your questions about being highly sensitive, empathic, and/or intuitive.
