Kirtan Meditation is back at CSLDallas! Experience an evening of sacred sound and an invitation to relax, rejuvenate, and connect with that deeper sense of yourself and the Divine Source within you.
Kirtan is part of an ancient form of Yoga called Bhakti, or the Yoga of Devotion. Simply put, Kirtan is yogic chanting, meditation through music, and communal singing. Together, we will chant the Sanskrit names of the Divine and ride the wave of this deep, devotional music that has been sung for thousands of years.
Call to those aspects of yourself that need to awaken and thrive in your life, and give yourself the gift of remembering who you are through this sacred sound journey!

About Sharon McGregor
Sharon’s lifelong love for music began in grade school, singing in the choir. She expanded her musical skills by learning piano as a child and later picking up the guitar in her 20s, focusing on contemporary female artists’ music. In 2015, Sharon delved into chanting, a Hindu call-and-response devotion, alongside Rudra Das and the Dharma Love Train. They frequently gathered at Monica Blossom’s Casa Ziba. In 2017, she created a monthly Kirtan Meditation event at CSLDallas, blending traditional Kirtan with Chakra meditation.
Sharon actively contributes to the music community through BYO Musicians, a non-profit providing music for charitable events. She is also part of the CSLDallas Music Team and continues to write her own music. Singing is Sharon’s passion, complemented by her service at CSLDallas. Through her Kirtan Meditation, she creates a transformative space where sound opens hearts and initiates profound journeys.
About Doug Klein
Doug’s deep love for music has been a lifelong passion. Around a decade ago, he embarked on a journey of creating and performing music, becoming an integral part of its mysterious and joyful process. Throughout this time, Doug has actively participated in numerous drum circles and collaborated with various duos and groups, entertaining audiences at parties, farmer’s markets, places of worship, meditation centers, and dances of universal peace gatherings.
At CSLDallas, Doug has had the privilege of performing alongside others on multiple occasions. He contributed to monthly Kirtan meditations in 2017, performed at the Here Now Experience concert in 2018, participated in two National Day of Prayer events, and delivered several guest musical performances on Sundays. In 2019, Doug assumed the role of co-musical director at CSL Kauai, HI, where he and his team provided music every Sunday, enriching the spiritual experience for the congregation. Doug’s musical journey remains an ongoing quest for growth and exploration. He believes that music has given him so much that he is determined to give back to it in return.
