Hello DFW Families & Happy Earth Day!

Our JOY Village Forest Room Teacher, Shelby Smith, is looking forward to leading us on a 1.6 mile hike on the Texas Buckeye Trail through the Trinity Forest in South Dallas. Let’s spend Earth Day together, in nature and in community, at this FREE family-friendly event.

• Please register in advance so we know to wait for you before we begin the hike.
• Wear appropriate clothing/bring whatever you need to be comfortable (keeping in mind there may be poison ivy, direct sun, bugs, etc.)
• Bring water!

After the hike, join us for a family picnic! We’ll gather and share a meal together at the covered picnic tables close to the trail. Please bring your own lunch. Bathrooms will be available.
