Promoting peace in our cities.

Dr Petra, Rev Karen, and our the CORE Council would love for you to join them and participate in the Compassion Walk. One of the main focus of this year’s walk is on Gun Violence and Gun Control.

International Day of Peace is on Saturday, September 21. On this day, the Dallas /
Fort Worth metroplex community will gather at Klyde Warren Park to promote peace in
our cities. This quiet, thoughtful Compassion Walk for Peace through the Dallas Arts
District also marks the closing day of the Compassion Games and includes remarks
by DFW civic leaders and interfaith community leaders.

12:00 Begin Walk to Thanks-giving Square, Program and Remarks
Ends Promptly at 1:00 PM..

(Gather and proceed from Klyde Warren Park Pavilion, following leaders through the
Dallas Arts District to Thanks-Giving Square. Observe all safety regulations and stop
lights/signs at intersections.)
