DESCRIPTION:Nature Circle\nTrinity River Elm Fork\nThe trip will be on the Trinity River Elm Fork. It is the area where the river connects with Lake Lewisville\, between Hebron Parkway and Sandy Lake Road along Interstate 35.Only 14 can go without further set-up by the tour provider. If we have more than 14\, I will develop a wait list\, and see if we can increase the tour. It is possible with planning.The tour costs $55 for a canoe (for up to 2 persons)\, or $40 for a kayak. Michael will coordinate the payment for the tour and answer any questions.We will meet at 9:00 AM sharp and the meeting place will be given to those that are registered\, the week before the tour departs. They don’t feel good enough\, smart enough\, or that life’s circumstances have gotten in the way. They may have taken inspirational classes\, read books\, or even seen therapists or coaches to help them either SEE THE VISION or IMPLEMENT THE VISION of their life’s purpose. And yet\, they might feel like something is missing because they are just not where they want to be in their lives. SUMMARY:Self Defense & Self Awareness Seminar
DESCRIPTION:This seminar is designed to teach basic self-defense ideas\, techniques\, and strategies to the individual that has little or no experience or training in the martial arts\, emphasizing mindfulness\, meditation\, taking responsibility for ourselves\, consciousness of surroundings\, and self-care. \nObjectives: \n– Learn how to defend yourself in a variety of situations and places.\n– Become familiar\, and learn basic striking techniques with hands\, feet elbows\, and knees.\n– Learn the basics of how to develop a mindset of purpose.\n– Learn Self-Awareness and how to be mindful of your surroundings.\n– Learn how to avoid potentially dangerous situations with non-violent techniques. \nEvent Details: \n\nAttendees should wear loose-fitting clothing\, such as jogging suits\, yoga pants\, shorts\, t-shirts\, etc.\nThe seminar is open to most children\, men\, and women. Women are especially encouraged to attend with the topic being self-defense.\nEveryone will be required to sign a waiver of liability.\n\nAbout the Instructor: \nMalcolm Austin is a certified American Tae Kwon Do instructor and meditation teacher.
