A uniquely brilliant solution was put forth in a book written by the great 20th-century thinker and theoretical physicist David Bohm. The name of Bohm’s seminal work is “On Dialogue”. \n“On Dialogue” is squarely aimed at uncovering the personal biases and prejudice that exist in all of us. The Dialogue process gives each of us an opportunity to safely explore the assumptions that belie the beliefs that support separation in its many forms. Separation is simply the distance we must navigate to find shared meaning. \nThe Circle is a sacred container that nourishes safety\, confidentiality and mutual respect. We have so much to offer to the political\, social justice\, and cultural conversations. We know how to create a vision and then speak for it. We know how to reveal unconscious beliefs and change old paradigms of thinking\, we do it for ourselves every day. \nOur spiritual imperative is to contribute our highest thoughts\, words\, and actions in service to a world that works for everyone. DESCRIPTION:You are invited on a profound adventure. \nThis Leadership Lab series is designed to be an active learning experience where participants discover and grow together. \nWe envision this as a time to explore ways that proven concepts\, spiritual principles\, and future possibilities can be integrated to lead CSLDallas\, our workplaces\, and the world\, toward a shared vision. \nWhat is a Leadership Lab? \nThe Merriam-Webster definition of “laboratory” is: “a place equipped for experimental study in a science or for testing and analysis … a place providing an opportunity for experimentation\, observation\, or practice in a field of study. \nThis Leadership Lab is designed to be a series that provides an opportunity for learning more and practicing the skills and behaviors that lead to more effective inclusion in our workplaces and spiritual communities. \nJust like in a scientific lab\, each Leadership Lab will focus on one theme or be designed to practice skills related to a particular aspect of inclusion. \nWhy are we focusing on Facing Racism? \nFor this Leadership Lab\, the focus is on encouraging and preparing participants to have a positive impact in a multi-racial\, multi-ethnic community\, workplace\, and nation. When separateness\, prejudice\, and biases disrupt our collective sense of balance we yearn for a wholesome response. A uniquely brilliant solution was put forth in a book written by the great 20th-century thinker and theoretical physicist David Bohm. The name of Bohm’s seminal work is “On Dialogue”. \n“On Dialogue” is squarely aimed at uncovering the personal biases and prejudice that exist in all of us. The Dialogue process gives each of us an opportunity to safely explore the assumptions that belie the beliefs that support separation in its many forms. Separation is simply the distance we must navigate to find shared meaning. \nThe Circle is a sacred container that nourishes safety\, confidentiality and mutual respect. Dialogue protocols add the disciplines of suspending judgment\, silence when silence happens and listening generously with intent to be influenced by shared meaning. \nIf you have participated you know the amazing experience it is in community building and personal growth. DESCRIPTION:Isn’t it discouraging and unbelievable that there are still climate deniers?  \nOur planet needs everyone to get on board. Yes\, there is great work happening all over the world\, but the US is ridiculously slow in fully getting on board. \nSo\, let’s change that by using our spiritual intention\, visualization\, and the power of collective consciousness. CSLDallas is hosting an Earth Day Labyrinth walk as a way for each person to contribute to raising the consciousness of the US and our world to commit and engage in reversing climate change. \nThis opportunity joins two ancient and powerful practices together for a deep healing of our collective psyche. \nLabyrinth walking is found around the globe\, in many different patterns\, but they all have one thing in common – it is a profoundly deep and connecting meditation practice. A labyrinth is not a maze\, there is only one way in and then reversed the same way out. Walking the labyrinth is done deliberately and with presence. \nEntering the labyrinth is all about walking with intention. Entering and moving into the center is the opportunity to release false ideas\, anger\, judgment\, and fear. Arriving at the Center is a place for receiving guidance\, visualizing newness\, and setting intentions. Returning to the beginning is an intentional act of taking awareness\, commitment\, and connection back out into the world. \n\nCollective Consciousness Raising is the intentional gathering of consciousness and committed souls to join in intentional shifting consciousness.
