This is an extraordinary event in the life of our community as we haven’t installed a new Spiritual Leader for over a decade. This evening allows us as a community to come together and celebrate our commitment to CSLDallas 3.0 and Rev Marquita!\n\n\nJoin us for a joyful and historic celebration as we honor the Installation of Rev. Marquita Pierre-McAlister — an evening of spirit\, ceremony\, and community connection. \nThis special occasion will begin with a warm Opening Reception\, welcoming friends\, family\, ministers\, and honored out-of-town guests. The reception will set the tone for an uplifting gathering filled with fellowship and anticipation. \nThe heart of the evening will be the Sacred Installation Program\, officiated by the Centers for Spiritual Living Spiritual Leader. This moving ceremony will formally install Rev. SUMMARY:The Power of YIN with Dr Petra Weldes
DESCRIPTION:Make sure to come to Dr Petra’s talk “How to Co-Create Despite the Opposition” starting at 10:30am. \nThe eastern idea of Yin and Yang brings awareness to the complimentary nature of the universe without locking it into a western mentality which identifies these ways of being with gender. In the west\, the feminine and masculine have become overidentified with gender and sexuality. Yet if we are whole beings\, wholly expressing the Oneness of the Divine Nature\, then each of us carries YIN and YANG energy. Yet our culture over values Yang energy\, especially in today’s polarized and divided environment.\nIn Dr Petra’s workshop\, she invites us to celebrate\, explore and embody the energy of YIN without identifying it with the western box of the female gender or even femininity. This workshop is for those who seek to be whole\, who seek not to be divided within nor one-sided in an outer way of being in the world.\nThis workshop includes:\n• Experiences of the nature of Yin\n• Self-exploration with our inner dynamic of yin and yang\n• Discovery of a rhythm between receptive and directive spirituality\n• Celebration of the power and the gentleness of Yin\n• Intentional practices to develop or curb Yin in your lifeYin is the receptive\, flowing\, easy side of life.
