As a demonstration of our commitment to service\, the CSLDallas Community Service Team invites you to gather with us for a day of gardening at Bonton’s Extension Farm! \nDuring this volunteer project\, we will have the opportunity to contribute to Bonton Farms’ mission by helping them lay a foundation for change that yields health\, wholeness\, and opportunity as the norm. All volunteers will receive a private tour of the farm\, followed by a choice of tasks to help support their important work. SUMMARY:Kirtan Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Kirtan Meditation is back at CSLDallas! Experience an evening of sacred sound and an invitation to relax\, rejuvenate\, and connect with that deeper sense of yourself and the Divine Source within you. \nKirtan is part of an ancient form of Yoga called Bhakti\, or the Yoga of Devotion. Simply put\, Kirtan is yogic chanting\, meditation through music\, and communal singing. Together\, we will chant the Sanskrit names of the Divine and ride the wave of this deep\, devotional music that has been sung for thousands of years. \nCall to those aspects of yourself that need to awaken and thrive in your life\, and give yourself the gift of remembering who you are through this sacred sound journey! \nWhat You’ll Experience: \n\nImmerse yourself in a sacred sound experience and connect with your heart through the vibration of song.\nExperience the transformative power of chanting mantras that have been sung for thousands of years.\nAwaken aspects of yourself and remember your inner wisdom.\n\n  \nThis event is free to all. Donations are appreciated. \nRegister Here\n  \nMeet Our Musicians:\n \nAbout Sharon McGregor \nSharon’s lifelong love for music began in grade school\, singing in the choir. She expanded her musical skills by learning piano as a child and later picking up the guitar in her 20s\, focusing on contemporary female artists’ music. In 2015\, Sharon delved into chanting\, a Hindu call-and-response devotion\, alongside Rudra Das and the Dharma Love Train. They frequently gathered at Monica Blossom’s Casa Ziba. In 2017\, she created a monthly Kirtan Meditation event at CSLDallas\, blending traditional Kirtan with Chakra meditation. \nSharon actively contributes to the music community through BYO Musicians\, a non-profit providing music for charitable events. She is also part of the CSLDallas Music Team and continues to write her own music. Singing is Sharon’s passion\, complemented by her service at CSLDallas. Through her Kirtan Meditation\, she creates a transformative space where sound opens hearts and initiates profound journeys. \nAbout Doug Klein \nDoug’s deep love for music has been a lifelong passion. Around a decade ago\, he embarked on a journey of creating and performing music\, becoming an integral part of its mysterious and joyful process. Throughout this time\, Doug has actively participated in numerous drum circles and collaborated with various duos and groups\, entertaining audiences at parties\, farmer’s markets\, places of worship\, meditation centers\, and dances of universal peace gatherings. \nAt CSLDallas\, Doug has had the privilege of performing alongside others on multiple occasions. He contributed to monthly Kirtan meditations in 2017\, performed at the Here Now Experience concert in 2018\, participated in two National Day of Prayer events\, and delivered several guest musical performances on Sundays. In 2019\, Doug assumed the role of co-musical director at CSL Kauai\, HI\, where he and his team provided music every Sunday\, enriching the spiritual experience for the congregation. Doug’s musical journey remains an ongoing quest for growth and exploration. He believes that music has given him so much that he is determined to give back to it in return.

SUMMARY:Spiritual Exploration for Physical Healing
DESCRIPTION:Are you dealing with chronic or acute illness\, pain\, or physical dis-ease? \nBring spiritual awareness and truth to the healing modalities you already use. Add a profoundly powerful spiritual intention for wholeness to your healing journey. We believe in the power of mental and spiritual conscious practices to bring about physical healing. We know there is a profound mind/body connection and the trauma\, emotions\, false beliefs and negative patterns can be stored in the body and out-picture as dis-ease. \nWe believe that we are all so deeply connected in the One Infinite Power and Presence it is possible to restore ourselves to wholeness. In this 1st of 4 sessions offered in 2024\, we focus on the awareness\, learning\, growth\, and practice that is available to us by consciously engaging with our pain and dis-ease. \nThe session includes: \n\nCentering music\nExtended guided meditation\nCreating an inner sacred space and altar\nJournaling and self-reflection\nDeep inner awareness\nCompassionate loving of the self and body\nA healing object for your own personal altar\n\nA Love Offering is encouraged \nBoth In-Person and Online \nRegister Here\nThis session is facilitated by Dr Petra Weldes. She has used these healing practices to work through a diagnosis of life-long chronic pain\, and a complete release of hereditary disease. Dr Petra has guided countless students in the deep inner awareness that’s available by compassionately inviting our experience to be revelatory\, filled with opportunities to learn and grow.

SUMMARY:Dialogue Circle
DESCRIPTION:Please reach out to Circle Leader for updated information on Meetings \nPurpose: The Circle serves as a path to finding shared meaning in our community. When separateness\, prejudice\, and biases disrupt our collective sense of balance we yearn for a wholesome response. A uniquely brilliant solution was put forth in a book written by the great 20th-century thinker and theoretical physicist David Bohm. The name of Bohm’s seminal work is “On Dialogue”. \n“On Dialogue” is squarely aimed at uncovering the personal biases and prejudice that exist in all of us. The Dialogue process gives each of us an opportunity to safely explore the assumptions that belie the beliefs that support separation in its many forms. Separation is simply the distance we must navigate to find shared meaning. \nThe Circle is a sacred container that nourishes safety\, confidentiality and mutual respect. Dialogue protocols add the disciplines of suspending judgment\, silence when silence happens and listening generously with intent to be influenced by shared meaning. \nIf you have participated you know the amazing experience it is in community building and personal growth. Now we allow anyone who has participated in Dialogue before to attend whenever they want. \nCome when you like\, just let us know you are coming so we set up for the correct attendees. If you have been in one of the 5 classes since 2017 you know the protocols and you will be on the roster to receive notice of the meeting and the topic. \nIf you like the topic or just want to practice deep listening without judgment\, register below and let us know you’re attending. Let’s all Dialogue together making you and me\, and this planet a little better! \nTHE DIALOGUE CIRCLE  IS OPEN TO ALL \nRegister Now
