DESCRIPTION:Nature Circle\nTrinity River Elm Fork\nThe trip will be on the Trinity River Elm Fork. It is the area where the river connects with Lake Lewisville\, between Hebron Parkway and Sandy Lake Road along Interstate 35.Only 14 can go without further set-up by the tour provider. If we have more than 14\, I will develop a wait list\, and see if we can increase the tour. It is possible with planning.The tour costs $55 for a canoe (for up to 2 persons)\, or $40 for a kayak. Michael will coordinate the payment for the tour and answer any questions.We will meet at 9:00 AM sharp and the meeting place will be given to those that are registered\, the week before the tour departs. SUMMARY:Metrocrest Services Holiday Store: Community Service Project
DESCRIPTION:Be Love in Action on December 17!  \nThe annual Metrocrest Services Holiday Store Event helps make the holiday season less stressful for families and a little brighter for their children. Sign up for a time slot to support this annual program for families in need. CSLDallas volunteers will gather unwrapped toys listed on a child’s wish list inside the Holiday Store for families to pick up so they may provide a special holiday season for their children. \nMetrocrest Services is one of our 2022 Nonprofit Partners! Since 1971\, Metrocrest Services has provided hope and relief to those who need a helping hand. Metrocrest offers a comprehensive bundle of services to address gaps in finances\, employment\, and nutrition to holistically help end poverty. \nTo participate\, email RSVP@CSLDallas by December 10th with the names of volunteers in your group and your preferred time slot. Here are the available time slots: \nSaturday\, December 17th: 9:30 – 11:00am OR 12:30 – 3:00pm.  \nYou can also sign up in person after Sunday Celebration on 11/27\, 12/4\, and 12/11. \nSpaces are limited. DESCRIPTION:Our members are diverse in age and interests. Some are just beginning to learn about sustainability and others have been passionate about it for many years. We all desire a world that works for everyone and enjoy spending our personal time participating in activities that are good for people\, the planet\, and our prosperity. \nWe use the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals as our primary teaching and learning tool.
