DESCRIPTION:Do you find yourself dreading or avoiding conflict? \nOr are you the kind of person who wades in and demands everyone just work it out?\nMaybe you think conflict means something is wrong that just needs to be fixed.\nOr do you really just prefer everyone to be nice?\nNo matter where we go or who we are\, whenever we are engaged with others conflict can arise. And along with conflict comes inevitable miscommunication.  \nYet there is a whole new way to understand conflict\, engage with others with passion and respect\, and to communicate with clarity and compassion. \nToo many of us respond to conflict as we learned to as a child at home. We can easily respond in ways that are out of alignment with who we want to be and communicate from our inner child or teenager\, without meaning to.  \nBut we don’t have to continue doing it this way. \nConflict can be the door to something new and creative. It can signal that something is out of alignment and needs to be handled. And it can invite us into reflection and growth if we will allow it.  \nConflict resolution must be done within oneself\, and it may require us to communicate with another.
