Not everyone believes they are artistic, or even creative. Yet to know we are creative beings, we must realize we are creative. Opening to creativity and releasing our creative expression, no matter how simple, strengthens our ability to co-create a joyous and beauty-filled life. Whether you are an artist or simply a creator of your own life, CSLDallas is a catalyst for artistic expressions, an incubator of visionaries, and an appreciator of the arts. You can find within our community a passion for the possible, a feast of talent, and a whole host of venues for creativity and self-expression. Music and Arts Programs at CSLDallas
Music Program: Music opens the heart and lifts the soul! Sunday Celebrations, Rituals and Special Services are filled with community and consciousness-shifting songs provided by our Music Director, special soloists, Sunday Music Team, and the CSLDallas House Band. There are many opportunities to share your musical talents – on the music team, ad hoc ensembles and choir, and through our annual Talent and Holiday shows.
Concerts and Shows: CSLDallas loves to share New Thought and uplifting music by hosting guest artists through special Concerts during the year. In addition, our community expresses its talents through our Annual Talent and Holiday Shows. We partner with local Centers for Spiritual Living communities for our CSL Neighborhood Jam.
Arts Ministry: The Arts Ministry provides a creative expression that supports the teachings and principles of Science of Mind through a combination of Dramatic Arts, Musical Theater, and Dance. Creating dramatic and comedic skits for Sunday Celebration, we also have productions during the year to both invite people to break through to their own creative expression as well as positively uplift and entertain the community.
Visual Arts: Beauty soothes the eye and invigorates the mind. Visual stimulation speaks in a way the heart can hear. CSLDallas supports the visual arts in our rotating art gallery for community artists to display their work. In addition, CSLDallas hosts annual art sales events, invites artists to participate in creating our annual theme, and encourages the sharing of their artwork to create our spiritually uplifting and beautiful space.
