A religion of kindness

“This is my simple religion. No need for temples. No need for complicated theology. Your own mind, your own heart is the temple. Your philosophy is simple kindness.” Dalai Lama

What does kindness look like, day to day, in my family, at work, in the world, in my politics, at my school, at the gym?

This is not being a doormat. This is not giving up your own needs or losing something. It is the act of truly recognizing that what you do to another you are doing to the ONE which means you are doing it to yourself. It’s focusing more on the quality of what you do and how you do it, than in what you are getting or someone is doing to you. Giving kindness out has nothing to do with letting harm be done to you. So don’t be afraid. Go ahead, be kind!
