Tomorrow the Season for Peace and Nonviolence (SPAN) begins. Every day there is a practice to ground us more deeply in peace within ourselves, with others, and in our larger communities. Every day is an opportunity to remember to BE the Peace and Love we want to see in the world. Today, we honor the memory of those who have changed the world, not through guns and wars, but with their prophetic voice, their words of truth and power, and their intention to make the world a better place for everyone.

The Season runs from January 30th to April 4th, commemorating the anniversaries of the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi. SPAN was started by Arun Gandhi, the Gandhi Institute and the Association for Global New Thought. You will not only receive the practice in writing but over the next 64 days, each daily practice will also be given in a short video, thanks to some wonderful volunteers. Join the practice. Pass it along! Let’s make a difference together.
