Global Heart Project

globalheartvision-1

Imagine ... a world ... balanced ... guided in an emerging paradigm of unconditional love and compassionate action ... a world ... free of homelessness, violence, war, hunger and separation and disenfranchisement.

See ... as we do ... a world in which the abundance of GOD is recognized and flows freely ... where there is a continuous sharing of heart and resources.

Dance ... joyfully ... in a world where uniqueness is celebrated ... diversity savored ... beauty, art, nature and love explored deeply, passionately in the succulence of life expressing.

Flow ... in a world where forgiveness heals ... open to the awareness of the shift ... as a deeper, universal TRUTH is revealed.

Stand ... in the BELIEF ... of a world ... where conflicts no longer obliterate lives, borders are merely imaginary lines in the sand and not weapons of separation that dissect hearts and souls as peace truly prevails.

Behold ... a beauty ... ubiquitous ... where growth is sustained and nurtured, fellowship prospers in the wisdom and experience of the love that is GOD.

Envision ... as light shines over the horizon and the bridge of separation evaporates in the revelation of the dynamic, empowering vision of ONENESS ... a healthy planet, vibrant, vivacious, voluminous.

One family. One LOVE.  Dancing together in the conscious evolution of the most interesting time in human history.

Welcome ... to the Global Heart Vision of the Centers for Spiritual Living. A community that cares about the wholeness of life expressing.

At the Center for Spiritual Living in Dallas, we believe that one of the greatest paths of discovery is in selfless service. Embracing the world in all of her complexities and challenges, we partake in the call ... to awaken.

Passionate possibilities are nurtured, visions are seeded and sustained in this Global Heart Vision in our commitment to be the heart, hands and resources of service.

2012 Global Heart Service - Temenos Center for Spiriutal Living, Ukraine

We have adopted the Temenos Center for Spiritual Living in the Ukraine as our Global Heart outreach for 2012!

Science of Mind in the Ukraine has been growing for the past 8 years under the passionate direction of Rev. Barbara Leger.  She teaches classes through translators and on Skype, has licensed dozens of Practitioners and has at least three outreach groups from the Tenemos Center.

Rev. Barbara and her group will Skype into our Services a few times this year and this will expand into an electronic scrapbook we can share.  Our Ministry of Prayer will be sharing with with and supporting their Practitioners.  In addition, we will be furthering the expansion of this work in the Ukraine with a $500 a month tithe.  You may plan to attend their annual fall conference!

It's good to be part of the spread of Science of Mind teachings and practices all over the world!

History of our Global Heart Team -

In 2004, Veronica Valles, RScP established a relationship with Roshi Joan Halifax of the Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe, NM (www.upaya.org) in a vision of collaborative service. This project supported the collection of medical supplies, vitamins and money to be raised on two different occasions for the Nomad Clinic that went to Tibet.  Lives in remote regions of the Himalayas where literally touched through this powerful program that Upaya has supported for years. In 2006, donations were infused with our love and consciously brought to Roshi Joan and her team at Upaya for their month-long, arduous but beautiful act of service.  See the video, A Medical Mission in Tibet. In 2005, the Center's response to the Hurricane Katrina devastation was one of enormous compassion in action. A large base of volunteers led by Chris Terry, RScP, assisted New Orleans evacuees at local shelters, collaborated with St. Luke's Methodist Church in the sorting of donated supplies and assisted evacuees through the governmental process of financial aid.  They provided a new home and goods to a family transplanted from New Orleans to Dallas and dispersed funds collected from around the country in the relief efforts that followed. In September, 2008, a team led by Rev. Dr. Petra Weldes and Veronica Valles, RScP, in conjunction with Sanctuary For Life (www.sanctuaryforlife.org), spent time on the Second Mesa, AZ with Hopi leaders in a vision of a cultural exchange with our teen group in the near future.  Hearts and minds were opened, potential projects discussed and a spiritual friendship cultivated -  all in the vision of healing the bridge of separation with the Native American cultures. In March and April of 2010, the Center worked with A Home In Haiti, and raised enough money to send 20 tents to those affected by the earthquake there.

We continue to envision dynamic relationships with Interfaith and intercultural communities and opportunities to be of service abroad with future trips to support AIDS orphanages in Africa and the building of wells and sustainable homes in Peru.

We ARE the BRIDGE ... that unites in the ONENESS of GOD expressing on this magnificent, emerald-sapphire sphere.

We are grateful for all financial contributions that help support, sustain and fund future trips and projects.
